Local Housing/Clubhouse/Support Groups - World Wide
One of the most frequently-asked questions I get via email starts with
"do you know anything about housing or local club houses, day treatment,
and support organizations in such and such city..." So I've opened
a new discussion area on the www.schizophrenia web server to focus on this
issue for those with schizophrenia.
The most recent question on this subject was with regard to the city of
Memphis, Tennessee (USA) where a young man is looking for some type of
support organization focused on Schizophrenia. If anyone knows of any programs
or local club houses, or support organizations in the city of Memphis,

On a broader view of this issue, I invite you to begin posting in the Local
Club House/Housing & Support Organization Discussion Area - with the
city in the Topic area the resources that you would recommend in your city.
If you know of any good schizophrenia support groups or club houses in
your area please drop a note with the name of the organization (besides
NAMI in the USA - I recommend that everyone call NAMI first to see if there
