Jack Croswell, a well-known AMI advocate in Alabama, thinks we should change
the name schizophrenia to some other name. I agree and don't think it is at
all absurd (mentally retarded became developmentally disabled; we now have
'Lou Gherigs" Disease,etc.). The fact is there are so many misconceptions
around the name schizophrenia, the best way to accurately (re)define it would
be via a tabula rasa. People interested in more info or want to join in
