This slide describes the results of one study Dr. Glick did comparing Haldol (Haloperidol) to Risperdal. In this study done over an 8 week period, the participants in the study both improved significantly (the PANSS score is a measure of "positive and negative symptoms" that are typical of schizophrenia. In this study Haldol was not quite as effective as Risperdal.
