This study demonstrates what has been shown many times - that Clozaril is probably the most effective medication - especially for suicidal patients. But it unfortunately suffers from a common and very dangerous side effect of agranulocytosis (low white blood cell count) - and thus the drug is not used very frequently in the USA (as it requires regular blood checks to monitor for this side effect).
