Survey for Sons & Daughters of Parents who have Schizophrenia

A psychology PHD student has contacted us about a online internet survey that he is doing as part of his research. We will publish the results of the survey so that everyone can learn and benefit from the research. Following is a description of the research and a link to the on-line survey:

Offspring of People with Schizophrenia - Creativity and Life Satisfaction

My name is David M. Stroup, I am a Ph.D. student of Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. I am presently conducting a research study on the relationship between creativity and life satisfaction in people who are sons or daughters of a person with schizophrenia.

If you are a son or daughter of a person with schizophrenia please go to www.offspringresearch.com and complete a brief, anonymous 15 minute survey. Your feedback and involvement are greatly appreciated. A summary of the results will be posted on schizophrenia.com at a later date. Thanks very much!

I am trying to take the survey for sons/daughters of schizophrenics but can't get past the page telling us how to enable cookies. I clicked on privacy policy which is the only place I can click but I can't get to any survey page.

You probably need to go to the preferences section of your internet browser and enable cookies. Once you enable cookies try it again. If it still doesn't work close out of your internet browser and reopen it. It should work then.

I was going to take the test, however it would not go to NEXT page after I answered questions on page 1. I doublechecked that they were all answered several times. Tried to help!

Hi Cathy,

You might want to try using a different computer or updating your internet browser to the latest version. I know other people have been successfully taking the survey as recent as yesterday. Good luck!

Me too, tried to do the survey for you and it keeps telling me I haven't answered all the questions on the page, when I have. Give up! A shame as this is the first time I have "gone public" on this isuue and really wanted to help with your research.

Hi Cathy,

I'm not sure why you are having trouble? I know several people have completed the survey since you posted here back on June 13th.

I would suggest that if you try it again you may want to double check that you have some kind of answer in every possible field - even if it is just a "N/A" or "0". Also, you might try a differnt internet browswer or even a different computer.

Best of luck to you!

Is this survey already closed? I just found the link online and would love to help in any way I can. My mother has schizophrenia and I am very interested in any research having to do with her or anyone in our family. If it is closed, when will the results be posted?
