Zyprexa reducing the amount of ejaculation (cum)

Anyone suffered a lack of ejaculation while on zyprexa? It's like nothing comes out at all during an orgasim.

I'm glad I have no plans for children of my own because I bet the zyprexa destroys the small amount of cum you may get during sex.

It has to be something else like low sperm count? I've been on Zyprexa for 13 years and don't have a problem. Are you masterbating 8 times a day? if you are better be careful if you run out of semen you might pull up some knee cartalage.

Seriously though it has to be something else causing it.

I dunno about zyprexa, but if you are on a high dose of seroquel it will almost stop or completely stop an orgasm, while the effect is coming on (ie if you took it an hour or so prior), almost stopping means it will be the lousiest not even half assed orgasm you have ever had, completely stopping (meaning you can't have one at all) an orgasm if you have sex (or do other things) if the effect has peaked. There are medications known to decrease amount, I have no experience with zyprexa and that. I would imagine that it is possible you are taking the medication before you do that? If so do that at another time of day.

I did not have that rpoblem on Zyprezxa, but di have it in risperdone. Very frustrating.

I took that, it removed my sex drive completely, so it was not a problem.

Yeah I agree with the above post about other meds but not Zyprexa. I've experianced orgasm problems from Risperdol and Lexapro but not Zyprexa. I guess it could happen and in my last post I think I might have come off a little illrational. Sorry. I guess just because I haven't experianced it doesnt mean anyone else can.

Yeah I've been on Zyprexa for 13 years and haven't had any problems. I tried the other two meds above and they did cause this problem in me. Not so much lack of fluid as more of not being able to get off.

I noticed when I had that problem I aslo had blood issues. Those two meds thinned my blood and it couldn't colagulate. I cut myself shaving and couldn't stop the bleeding. I think the thinning blood issue was also releated to the orgasm issue. I also got headaches frequently. I stopped those meds because of this stuff.

You should discuss it with your doctor he might have more info. I know this might sound a little risky and some might jump all over me for saying it but.... Try skipping your dose for two days and see if it still happens. When I skipped a day or two with the other meds I noticed my problem went away. So I know it was the med that caused it. After I stopped taking it the problem totaly went away.

Under no cercumstances totaly stop the med without your doctors approval. You could have a psychotic break and it takes along time to recover from one.

i had the same problem while i was taking zyprexa... it's one of the possible side effects... talk to your pdoc

Odd, I had the sexual effect but not the lack of clotting, that might be loss of platelets. I have cut myself accidentally numerous times on seroquel, even once hit an artery. It stopped bleeding with applied pressure before I reached the hospital.

The sexual dysfunction caused by antipsychotics due to dopamine restriction is a rise in the level of Prolactin in your system. It is a hormone that makes you feel kinda sleepy and passive. In men, it is readily apparent after an orgasm (the rise in Prolactin). When your Prolactin levels are high, in men, they cannot ejaculate again until the levels drop.

But, these medications make it as if you were a male and just had that orgasm. You feel sleepy (histamine affinity in meds also causes somnolence). In women, it affects their sexual functions too. In this case, it simply reduces the amount of semen produced from the getgo so that you can't feel but cheated by your prostate.

Disgusting to say the least what these medications do to the sexual system. It is said that dopamine is the "in love" chemical.

All interrelated to the dopamine factor. This is how aphrodisiacs like Deprenyl and Yohimbe work, by stimulating dopamine receptors and reducing Prolactin.

. I once ejaculated air whilst on a prescription of zyprexia, and it bloody hurt!!!.A dry twang down there is no good for anybody's mental health.

Before I was on meds I could shoot my cum past my chest. Now on zyprexa a lot comes out, it's a mess, but it doesn't shoot anywhere. It seems like I can't ever get a full erection since I've been on zyprexa. Very embarassing.

I was on prolixen for about 22 years, then on prolixen and resperidone at the same time, and now just on resperidone along with welbutrin and cogentin and haven't had any of those problems though I don't have a lot of sex. Think about it a lot but most people probably do too.
