The Diagnosis and Treatment of Schizophrenia - Presentation

There is an good Internet-based presentation on the diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia in a primary care setting (that is, the health services that play a central role in the local community, such as family doctors (GPs). The presentation includes a slide show with a streaming audio feed where experts talk about each slide as they go through the presentation. The presentation is written with doctors in mind - and there are some medical terms that I'm sure you won't understand - but if you skip ignore those terms we think many people will be able to follow it without too many problems. This presentation is a recorded version of a live presentation that took place earlier today (so you cannot ask questions, etc.). This presentation is ideal for people who want to learn more about the disorder, as well as all health professionals working to help people who have schizophrenia.

You may need to first do a free registration on - by visiting their web site.

If you've ever registered with in the past - you can simply click on the following link and you'll be taken directly to the presentation.

Special Thanks to "Void" for identifying this presentation and sending us the link.

The link you set up to view a presentation about schizophrenia through MedScape is not working. Please fix it as I'd like to view that presentation.

Thank you
